RISE is educating and empowering our sisters to take on positions of power while building networks of Muslim women in leadership. Equipped with the skills they need and the support from their sisters, Muslim women are navigating systems and institutions, challenging the status quo, and fighting for racial equity, social justice, and gender inclusion.
At RISE, we believe that to effectively support others, we must first take care of ourselves. Life can be challenging, so we prioritize creating spaces for our sisters to rest and rejuvenate. Sisterhood is the foundation of everything we do. Our mission is to cultivate a community of strong, brilliant Muslim women who are driving change and leadership. While every event we host fosters connection, we dedicate our Mocktails event specifically to deepen those bonds and strengthen our sisterhood.
Our leadership development program places a strong emphasis on economic empowerment, aimed at equipping our Muslim sisters with the skills and resources they need to thrive. We host workshops on topics ranging from investing to homeownership, and beyond—ensuring that every step we take aligns with our Islamic values.
The annual Muslim Women’s Leadership Conference brings together Muslim women leaders, activists, professionals, scholars, and philanthropists who are making a positive impact in their communities. We showcase their work while building social networks, providing concrete steps for change, and inspiring women to use their strengths in order to affect social issues.
